Community health and wellness are essential to creating strong, prospering neighborhoods where individuals can live, work, and thrive. When addressing public health challenges through grants and related research, supporting initiatives that improve access to healthcare, promote healthy behaviors, and reduce health disparities can lead to lasting positive change. Investing in community health not only improves individual outcomes but also builds stronger, more resilient communities. USFCR is offering organizations the opportunity to uplift the health and wellness of their communities with the following grants.

The Henry E. Niles Foundation Grant

  • Henry E. Niles Foundation, Inc. is currently accepting applications from 501c3 nonprofit organizations for programs that assist individuals in need. Organizations from the following states are eligible to apply: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and New York. Be aware that grant awards range from $2,5000 to $50,000. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

At this time the Foundation highlights the following areas:

    • Economic Self-Sufficiency: Focus on job training, micro-credit initiatives, the support and encouragement of entrepreneurialism, and mentoring.

The Foundation does not fund individuals, organizations without 501c3 tax-exempt status, endowments, government agencies, or organizations that subsist primarily on third party funding with no ability or expended little effort to attract private funding.
